Industrial Integration
GS Global Resources has completed a 68,620 GSF building expansion at its Mukwonago facility. The infill addition connects two existing buildings and supports increased production, storage, and office operations.
The design meets industrial occupancy requirements for factory and storage use, as defined by the International Building Code. The expansion includes two recessed loading docks and new parking areas along the west and north sides of the site.
The structural system consists of steel columns and girders. Wide flange beams were considered where more cost-effective. The roof structure was designed to support HVAC units for both production and office areas.

The addition maintains the existing structural clear height. Exterior walls use R-15 load-bearing precast concrete panels with formed reveals and exposed aggregate to match the original building.
