Athletic Uplift

JAK partnered with the Greenfield School District to reimagine and elevate the existing high school softball facilities—transforming aging infrastructure into a more functional, compliant, and welcoming athletic environment.

The architectural scope focused on replacing the open-air chain link dugouts with durable, weather-protected structures using wood or masonry—offering athletes greater comfort, safety, and a professional atmosphere. A newly designed Announcer Booth, elevated to align with the adjacent baseball field’s existing booth, enhances both visibility and functionality for game-day operations.

JAK also developed thoughtful additions to the existing concessions building, incorporating new Men’s and Women’s restrooms and a Janitor’s room. These enhancements not only improve public access and convenience but also extend the building’s long-term usability for the school and broader community.

This project reflects JAK’s commitment to purposeful, contextual design that enriches student-athlete experience and strengthens community pride in shared spaces.
